Interested in learning more about the history of Nelson’s Dockyard?  There are many opportunities to learn about the unique heritage of the area. Visit the Dow’s Hill Interpretation Centre or the Dockyard Museum to get more information about the history of the area and ongoing research and archaeological excavations in the National Park.  You can also visit one of the forts that dot the landscape of English Harbour on one of the many National Park trails. To glimpse stunning views of Falmouth and English Harbour and experience the natural beauty of Antigua, hike one of Nelson Dockyard’s nature trails.  A variety of trails ranging in difficulty take visitors to numerous sites within the park and offer a chance to experience a variety of natural phenomenon from beaches to forest. SPECIAL EVENTSdockyard activities 1

The Dockyard is host of several annual events including Antigua Sailing Week and the Antigua Charter Yacht Show.  In addition, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta and the RORC 600 Caribbean race are held within the National Park making it one of the centres of sailing in the Caribbean. Learn More
